This 18th century marble sculpture was shipped to us with the head broken completely off!
I reattached the head by inserting a steel pin, about 6 inches in length, through the neck and into the torso. I then cemented the area with marble resin.
This was followed by gentle sanding to match the original texture.
And finally a custom pigment was made and applied to match perfectly the original color, condition and finish.
